Cardio Fitness

The dreaded word Cardio for some people and a passion for others. Either way you look at it thought I believe its one of the key components that should never be left out of a fitness plan. 

​

Cardio is short for Cardiovascular exercise, which is any movements that get your heart rate up and increase blood circulation throughout your body. There are many forms of Cardio which all have different benefits on the body.

​

Most individuals performing cardio are using it as a way to burn off excess calories and since you are moving the body, it is going to increase the need for energy. Some forms are slightly better when strictly speaking of fate loss but all cardio, regardless of form will burn off calories. Since fat loss does depend on calories burned versus calories consumed it is a step in the right direction.

​

The reason to do cardio does not end with fat loss though; there are a wide variety of health benefits you receive from a regular cardio program.

​

Benefits are endless however just to name a few; Improved heart health, Increased metabolism, Improved hormonal profile and improved recovery ability.

​

I thoroughly believe in Cardio Fitness sessions which I call HIIT, I believe this is what gets my clients amazing results. Let me help you improve your fitness and overall health in a safe and energizing way. 

Weight Lifting

Many women I meet are so scared of the word weights why? Because they associate weights with Elite Athletes, Body Builders, and experienced gym goers. However they also believe weights make them big and bulky!Okay lets set the bar straight here ladies weights do not make you big a bulky let me tell you why, Us women don't produce the same hormones as men and therefore cannot gain enough lean muscle mass to look bulky.

Okay back to weight training let me tell you the benefits of weight training; Strength Increases, Improves Bone Density, Improves Quality of Life, Burns Fat for Longer and Improves strength of the connective tissue, muscles and tendons. 


There is no better way to get those important muscles working than to engage in this method. 

Box Fitness
